Chancellor's Advisory Committee on the LGBT Community at Cal
The Chancellor's Advisory Committee on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Community at Cal is a standing committee reporting to the Chancellor, comprised of UC Berkeley staff, faculty, graduate and undergraduate students. To promote a tolerant and inclusive campus environment, the committee regularly identifies, analyzes, and advises the Chancellor and senior administration on needs and concerns of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer faculty, staff, students, alumni, and affiliates at UC Berkeley. LavenderCal Staff & Faculty Network
LavenderCal is an organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer staff and faculty at UC Berkeley. We are a network for Cal's LGBTIQ staff and faculty, offering networking events throughout the year. Our goal is to promote the inclusion and well-being of our LGBTIQ employee community, and to establish a network for sharing resources and experiences on campus. UCLGBTIA
The University of California Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Intersex Association (UCLGBTIA) exists for the purpose of supporting and promoting the University of California community with respect to diverse sexual and/or gender orientations. The Association exists to create a positive environment conducive to the well-being of the members of the community. Membership of the UCLGBTIA includes, but is not limited to, faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, staff, and alumni of the University of California campuses.

Campus Climate and Compliance (CCAC) Office
The Campus Climate and Compliance (CCAC) Office is responsible for ensuring the University provides an environment for faculty, staff and students that is free from discrimination and harassment on the basis of categories including race, color national origin, gender, age and sexual orientation/identity. They work towards this through preventative education regarding issues of sexual harassment, discrimination and equity, and resolution of issues of discrimination.
Faculty Equity Association
Created by the determination of a campus committed to diversity, the Office for Faculty Equity (OFE) has a leadership role to develop, monitor and communicate the guidelines, policies, procedures and new initiatives that will encourage diverse hiring. OFE also seeks to increase retention of that talent by ensuring that faculty at the University of California at Berkeley are proactively supported professionally and in their personal lives, no matter what their gender or ethnicity.
Gender Consortium
The Gender Equity Resource Center is part of the Gender Consortium at UC Berkeley. The Consortium is intended to bring together several campus units dedicated to issues surrounding gender and sexuality. The goal is to provide an infrastructure for coordinating public events, fundraising, applying for external grants, and enhancing undergraduate and graduate education.
Members of the Gender Consortium are Beatrice M. Bain Research Group, Center for Race and Gender, Center for the Study of Sexual Culture, The Designated Emphasis Program on Women, Gender, and Sexuality, The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Studies Undergraduate Minor, Gender and Women's Studies, The Emma Goldman Papers, The Gender Equity Resource Center, The Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies in Religion and Ministry and coming soon, GTU Women and Religion. Status of Women and Ethnic Minorities/
The Committee on the Status of Women and Ethnic Minorities is a committee within the Academic Senate, and pertains to faculty. SWEM promotes departmental efforts to achieve equality for women and minorities.
